I recently got an email from an old club acquaintance named George Gozum (aka Helvetika Black). George was always a really cool guy and, among many other things, was/is a cartoonist. He sent me a copy of a great comic strip he did waaaaayyy back in the day called "Happy Planet" that ran in HX magazine for a while. He sent this one to me in particular because it had me in it. It was made in 1992 (yow!) and it really captures the moment - for some reason. Some of these queens (including me) still live in New York City...some of them have escaped...er, I mean...MOVED out of the city. It brought such a smile to my face, I just had to share it with everyone:
