"Often crime is a distorted form of human endeavor." #murderrock #uccideapassodidanza As a fan of Lucio Fulci this film is surreal for me because a large portion of the exterior shots were done at the intersections of Grand, Pitt and Delancey streets in lower Manhattan, where I lived most of my years in NYC. The street scenes center around a community center, police station, hospital, and the Williamsburg Bridge in the neighborhood and have a "NYC feel," even though it's a rather random location (the interior shots in the bulk of the film were done in a studio in Italy). It was filmed years before I moved there, but in one scene the main character bicycles right by my apartment. I didn't even see this 80's Fulci film until the mid-00's, but when I did I was like, "WTH? That's right out my window!"
